16-12-2005 VC Invoice Server/Workstation version 0.74 database program ----------------------------------------- 1 - Installation 2 - Upgrade 3 - Uninstall 4 - What the Program Does 5 - What’s New on this version? 6 - Wish List 7 - Support and Contact 1 - Installation ================= a) Unzip the zipped file into a temporary directory and run VCInvoiceSetupS.exe to begin the installation. b) The program can be installed anywhere including network and removable drives. Note: you might need to update your current operating system during the installation. Allow it to be updated and then restart your computer. c) Upgrade from previous version. Please read 2 - Upgrade 2 - Upgrade =========== a) The package installation is exactly the same one for first time installation and upgrade. b) Backup your old database. In case of upgrade failure you can install the old version as if it was the first time and restore your old database. b) VC Invoice program Problem during install: While installing VC Invoice, the setup may say that the VCInvoiceS.exe file is in use. To solve the problem, get out of the setup - restart the computer and run the setup again. c) Install the upgrade in the EXACTLY same place you have your current VC Invoice program. The upgrade module will detect your old version and all you have to do is follow the instructions. 3 - Uninstall ============= a) If you would like to remove the VC Invoice program from your computer, simply make use of the standard Windows Add/Remove as follows: Click on your START button. Select SETTINGS. Select CONTROL PANEL. Choose ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and select VC Invoice. Then click on the ADD/REMOVE or CHANGE/REMOVE button. b) Or you click the uninstall shortcut next to the VC Invoice shortcut. 4 - What can VC Invoice do? ============================ Invoicing plus small accounts and Tax reports. * VC Invoice target micro to small business, can be use on medium to large business, with NO need of stock control. * If is a need to access the Database from more then one computer you must use VC Invoice Server, where the Database going to be, and VC Invoice WorkStation on other computers accessing the same Database Server.
